Matt Hancock pictured entering House of Commons for first time today after I'm A Celebrity appearance
Matt Hancock has returned to Parliament after taking part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! The former health secretary came third on the ITV show, with footballer Jill Scott being crowned Queen of the Jungle and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner coming second.
In a video posted to Instagram, Mr Hancock said: “I’m back in the office in Westminster today after my day in the constituency yesterday. I’ve got my Bill in front of Parliament today to have better screening for dyslexia.” He also invited social media users to “ask me anything” on the platform.The former cabinet minister last spoke in the Commons on October 17, when he welcomed the “return of iron-clad fiscal responsibility.
While in the jungle he described the moment when his dyslexia was identified and he realised his “brain works differently” and that he can “work on that”. The MP said that he “desperately wanted to learn” but struggled with English”.
