First look at Matt Hancock's first I'm A Celeb trial which will hit screens tonight
It's the moment we've all been waiting for and tonight is the night that Matt Hancock finally enters the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
In the preview clip for tonight's episode, the Tory MP can be seen wading through a tunnel filled with creepy crawlies. He can then be seen shouting out when a bout of slime is dumped on his head. Matt says: "I can't find any stars!" and the camera pans over to hosts Ant and Dec who can be seen laughing hysterically.
Prior to entering the jungle, The MP said "I haven’t lost my marbles" by deciding to join the reality show after being suspended from the parliamentary Conservative Party. He then said that his "first priority" is to his constituents as he flew over 10,000 miles to join the programme. He then defended his decision whilst speaking to The Sun, saying entering the jungle is “a great opportunity to talk directly to people who aren’t always interested in politics”.
