Matthew Perry's family has publicly broken their silence following the tragic death of the Friends star at the age of 54. The family expresses their heartbreak and appreciation for the outpouring of love from fans.
Matthew was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home on Saturday, according to reports in America. The star's dad John Bennett Perry, 82, mum, Suzanne, and stepdad Keith Morrison arrived at the scene just hours after Matthew was found by his assistant.
Matthew is an only child to his mother and father who are said to have divorced the year after he was born, reports the Mirror. He has five younger siblings as his parents went on to have other relationships. Law enforcement claims 911 dispatched responders at around 4pm local time after a report of a cardiac arrest. There were reportedly no drugs at the scene and cops did not suspect any foul play.
