You already covet his fringed dresses, his Intrecciato bags and his Le Corbusier-inspired furniture. Now, you can add Bottega Veneta creative director Matthieu Blazy’s first fragrances for the house to that long list. Today, the designer unveils a collection of five scents for the house, all inspired by Bottega Veneta ’s home city, Venice.

The final fragrance in the collection, Alchemie, contains Brazilian pink pepper and myrrh from Somalia. Given that this is Matthieu Blazy we’re talking about, it will come as no surprise to learn that as much thought has gone into crafting the bottle as the scents. The creative director – a master of texture and tactility – has conceived of an undulating glass bottle that manages to nod to both the Venetian lagoon and the smooth, sensual feel of Bottega Veneta’s leather goods.
