Update: Although it's been a cool two months after Taylor Swift dropped The Tortured Poets Department, one of Matty Healy's friends dished about his stance on the album. According to Us Weekly, the anonymous source revealed that The 1975 frontman has 'mixed feelings' about Tortured Poets.
' In the latter, Taylor muses, 'You left your typewriter at my apartment / Straight from the tortured poets department / I think some things I never say / Like, who uses typewriters anyway?' Once the album dropped, a clip of Matty talking about typewriters during a 2018 GQ interview resurfaced online.'It's not that there's any kind of like, romance to having a notebook, but I really like typewriters, as well,' Matty said at the time.
