LoveIsland's Maura and Curtis have set the record straight
Love Island couple Maura Higgins, 28, and Curtis Pritchard, 23, have broken their silence and responded to rumours that they knew each other before they went into the villa for this year’s reality series.
“She knows the show and being with Curtis she obviously knows what it involves. It would be great to have her on but probably not this year.” The couple were quizzed about if they knew one another when Curtis was working in Ireland on Dancing With The Stars, to which they both replied a firm “no”. Phillip then asked the professional dancer if she had replied to his message, to which he said: “No”.
Holly sweetly pointed out it's as if their romance was ”meant to happen” and added: ”Because there was that, and it obviously happened on Love Island.” After the TV chat, Curtis posted a group snap of him, Maura, Phil and Holly and joked they were wearing “matching outfits”. Sharing a snap of them all in blue in the studio Curtis said: “Blue Day #matchingoutfits ... Thank you @thismorning.”
