Recent photos show Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks preparing for a holiday getaway, fueling speculation about their blossoming romance.
Pete Wicks and Maura Higgins have been spotted packing for a holiday ahead of Christmas. After being photographed kissing in public a few months ago, the couple have been at the centre of romance rumours, which only intensified during their respective times on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Strictly Come Dancing.
During her time in the jungle, former Love Island star Maura, 34, spoke about their blossoming relationship, saying they’d been friends for five years before Pete, 36, decided to try his luck and ask her out. Although she initially thought he was ‘delusional’ Pete’s persistence was eventually successful. After now finishing their reality TV commitments, the pair have been seen on their way to what appears to be a romantic getaway over Christmas. As Pete packed her Mercedes with several suitcase, Maura was seen smiling ahead of the journey. She watched on as he placed bags and suitcases into the car. The pair were snapped ahead of the holiday. They weren’t packing lightly. Pete was then seen getting into his car. The pair were each dressed for comfort, with Maura wearing her curly hair out with a black cropped top and jogging bottom while he was seen in a black and white jumper, black joggers, white trainers and a black beanie. Pete’s luxury Porsche was also parked nearby. Although they’ve been spending lots of time together since Maura landed back in the UK from Australia, they haven’t confirmed they are spending time together over the holiday
