Todd Boehly is searching for a permanent replacement for Potter, who was sacked from his position on April 3.While Frank Lampard is in caretaker charge, the club are pulling together a shortlist to take the job on a permanent basis – which has now been reduced to three names.
Chelsea currently sit 11th in the Premier League, with their disastrous season being capped off with their recent Champions League exit. Having not won any of their last seven games in all competitions – including all four since Lampard took over – qualification for European football is now highly unlikely.
