For Newcastle United fans it will bring back memories of John Carver. Amongst all of the mad/bizarre things to have happened under Mike Ashley, giving the top job to John Carver was surely one of the truly most crazy periods of those 14+ years. “We need to be sure that we bring what the club needs to be at the top because the history of the club is to be at the top.”
