Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino saw his side triumph emphatically on the pitch as they defeated Everton 6-0 but he fought a losing battle when it came to his attempts to talk about his team’s display rather than an unseemly penalty squabble between his players in the post-match press conference.
“I am so upset about the situation. We were talking in the dressing room about the image we were sending out because it’s Monday night football and in every single country they were watching the game and we cannot send out this kind of image. “We need to move on and talk about the game. Six-nil against a very good team like Everton, to score six and keep a clean sheet you must be happy no?”
