Max George, who recently underwent heart surgery and received a pacemaker, is experiencing a new symptom and has turned to his online followers for advice.

Max George has turned to his online followers for support after developing an 'out of the blue' symptom just days after coming home from heart surgery . Earlier in the month, Max shared that he was hospitalised with heart issues. Medical professionals found a 2:1 block in his heart and declared an urgent need for surgery as his heart rate showed no signs of improvement.

The Wanted star then revealed last week that he had a pacemaker fitted during a two-and-a-half hour operation to correct the heart block. The former Preston North End youth player initially thought he would have to stay in hospital over the festive period, but in a video shared late on Christmas Eve, he joyfully revealed to his fans that he was back home and waiting for his girlfriend Maisie Smith to join him. Since being discharged, Max has been actively updating his followers about his recovery. In his latest post on Monday (December 30), he shared a video on Instagram seeking advice from those familiar with living with a pacemaker. In the video, Max says: 'Hey guys, hope you're good. Just a little update and ... well, actually, a question for those of you that have been in touch that have a pacemaker done. I'm in the hospital tomorrow for another check-up because I've been getting this like flicking feeling in the left hand side of my chest. 'I'm actually getting it now. And I was wondering if you guys maybe knew what that might be or you've experienced it yourself, cause the doctors aren't too sure.' He continued: 'So hopefully it will be ... y'know maybe it's touching a nerve and it will go away in time, or they may have to move the wires slightly but I'm all ears because all I'm doing at the moment is y'know doing research and stuff cause I know nothing about pacemakers. 'This came completely out of the blue. So any information that I can get would be much appreciated. Thanks again guy
