Corrie's Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is 'willing to lose everything' after shocking Joel Deering (Calum Lill) murder outcome in the ITV soap.
Max confessed to Joel’s murder Coronation Street left us with our jaws on the floor this evening when Max Turner confessed to the murder of Joel Deering . After Max revealed how he had hit him with a rock and pushed his body into the river below, DC Kit Green charged him with murder. Viewers have spent weeks trying to work out who Joel’s killer really was, so it has come as a relief for actor Paddy Bever for the truth to finally be out.
‘The storyline is really complex, it’s not just a cold blooded murder, there’s lots of people involved and who have done shady things, so I think that’s what’s great about it because the blame doesn’t solely lie on one person.’ During his interrogation, Max revealed that he went after Joel so that he would face justice for what he’d done to Lauren Bolton – someone he cares deeply about.
