Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon has ordered city government department heads to address the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the city.
This, after the City Health Office reported on July 3 that the number of active Covid-19 cases in Muntinlupa rose to 96 from 45 a week ago.
Muntinlupa’s weekly new Covid-19 cases totaled 164 from June 27 to July 3, an increase of 103 new cases or 168.8 percent from 61 cases tallied from June 20 to 26. “Immediate concern natin is rising cases of Covid-19 ,” said Biazon during the flag-raising ceremony at the Muntinlupa City hall quadrangle on July 4.
