Calamba City Mayor Ross Rizal delivers his third State of the City Address at the Calamba City Coliseum and gives highlights on the progress and reforms in Calamba.CALAMBA CITY, Laguna–Despite the rain, over a thousand people gathered to hear about the city’s economic growth and improvements in public safety during the 282nd Foundation Anniversary celebration, where Mayor Ross Rizal delivered his third State of the City Address today at the Calamba City Coliseum.
Two topics that surfaced frequently throughout the address were the challenges of trade and industry and public safety. Rizal also mentioned the city’s economic progress as Calamba was lauded by Malacañang as one of the most competitive component cities in the country — and number 1 in the whole province of Laguna.
