Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte visited on Thursday night, Feb. 2, the victims of fire in Barangay Apolonio Samson in the city last Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Belmonte and the City Social Services Development Department checked the situation and distributed financial assistance to the affected families who were temporarily staying in Masambong National High School, Masambong Tennis Court, and Community Center.
The mayor assured the families that the city government is ready to assist them to recover from the incident.
