Referencing Moody’s, a leading provider of credit ratings and research, Bobst reiterated the positive assessment of Rocky River’s financial position from 2022:- Solid credit profile highlighted by sound economic fundamentals, stable operations, and healthy reserves- Resilient income tax base rebounding from COVID-19 economic challenges
Bobst proudly shared that 2024 marks the 34th consecutive year Rocky River has received the “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” from the Government Finance Officers Association. “The award is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting,” she said, commending Finance Director Mike Thomas, the Finance Department, other city leaders, and City Council for their roles in this achievement.
