And when Stephen came in during the summer it was like a breath of fresh air. I am really enjoying being back on the pitch and enjoying it.
"But I feel I have plenty to offer, and this is a new lease of life for me. Even last year I was thinking in my head, am I getting older here? Should I pack it in? But then at the same time you have that chip on your shoulder and you want to prove a point."I don't know if I ever had legs, to be honest, after I hit 21. But I still feel I have a bit left me in yet."
"I have known Davy a long time. He's a top player. We wanted to get more of them in during the summer and we're delighted to get Davy in," McDonnell said.
