McDonald's Spicy McNuggets make a triumphant return on Thursday
Cast your mind back to August. The sun was shining and the days were longer – but that isn’t the only thing we are missing in the depths of winter., but just like the hotter weather, it was over all too soon.
The good news for those who loved the new McNuggets flavour is that they’re coming back for a limited time to spice up your dark January. But the bad news is, they’ll only be around for four weeks this time. Like the traditional McNuggets, they’re just chunks of chicken in a crispy coating but these ones have some extra spices and come with a Tabasco dip.
Apparently McDonald’s decided to bring them back after spotting lots of social media posts asking for them to return. As well as the eight-week trial in the UK this summer, they have been on sale temporarily in the US and Asia, while Australian branches have them on the menu permanently. The Spicy McNuggets are priced the same as normal McNuggets – six Spicy McNuggets for £3.19, nine for £3.49 or a sharebox with 20 McNuggets for £4.99. They can also be bought as part of a meal with a side and a drink.
