The fast food giant said its new deal is cheaper than a similar Greggs promotion
McDonald's has announced a price cut on some of its menu favourites from today in a bid to compete with Greggs. The fast food giant revealed that its new deal offers breakfast favourites at lower prices than a similar promotion by Greggs.
Customers can now grab a Sausage and Egg McMuffin or an Egg McMuffin, along with a regular hot drink, soft drink, or bottled drink, for £2.79. A spokesperson for McDonald's highlighted that this makes it 6p cheaper than Greggs' breakfast deal, reports Lancs Live, which includes a breakfast roll with a hot drink for £2.85.Both McDonald's and Greggs serve their breakfast offerings until 11am each day. This announcement follows the recent news of the return of one of McDonald's "best burgers ever", the Chicken Big Mac, available from Wednesday, April 17.
Other new additions to the menu include a Biscoff McFlurry, a Biscoff Frappe, and new Cheese and Herb Melts. Fans of McDonald's have hailed the Chicken Big Mac, priced at £4.69, as "the best", with one customer commenting: "Chicken Big Mac is the best burger McDonald's have ever made."Another customer chimed in: "Bruh, the flavours in the Chicken Big Mac? Unreal quality.
