Kalvin Phillips has started seven times for Ipswich Town this season
Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has hit out at claims suggesting the Premier League strugglers are looking at terminating Kalvin Phillips ' loan spell in January.
When quizzed on the Phillips speculation following Town's dramatic 4-3 defeat to Brentford yesterday, McKenna said: "What can I say on that? Proper, proper nonsense. "It's absolute nonsense. There have been no conversations of the like and I think it's a real, real shame. He had a very good game." After two high-profile moves, Phillips headed to top flight new boys Ipswich in the most recent transfer window.
