An infant has been diagnosed with measles after returning from India, sparking an alert from NSW Health. 9News
The baby was taken to locations in Parramatta and Westmead, including the The Children's Hospital at Westmead emergency department.
Anyone who visited the following locations has been told to stay alert for signs and symptoms, and should get vaccinated against measles if they haven't already: Dr Christine Selvey, Director of Communicable Diseases from New South Wales Health said young children are most at risk from the disease. "Measles is easily spread in the air through coughing or sneezing by someone who is unwell with the disease."New South Wales health says the child caught the disease while on an overseas trip to India.
