The San Gabriel Unified School District is asking voters to approve a property tax increase to fund $178 million in renovation and repair projects.SGUSD serves more than 4,500 students across eight schools. The district wants money to upgrade classrooms and science labs; purchase instructional technology for science and trade-related classes; and repair deteriorating roofs, plumbing, electrical, and ventilation systems, among other things.
