Molly has revealed the extent of her injuries
‘Meatball’ Molly McCann has issued an update on her injuries after suffering a painful defeat in her last UFC fight. Molly was hit by a brutal knee to the stomach in the first round, from which she struggled to recover. This was Molly’s second fight as a strawweight, with the fighter dropping down from a flyweight after two consecutive losses. Afterwards, Molly shared a picture of herself smiling with her opponent and announced she would be taking a break.
Sharing a picture of her left foot in a boot, Molly said: “Little update for everyone asking - the first kick of the first round broke my fibula, hence me having to stand southpaw for the whole fight and why I couldn’t get that much off. Another six weeks in this boot, physio most days and then see where we will go after that.” Molly added she was sorry for not responding to the many messages she has received.
