Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming says the current Medicare system will have a “massive impact” on families if not reformed soon.
“I do feel for doctors, they have lots of overheads and the cost-of-living going up impacts them as well,” she told Sky News host Amanda Stoker.
“There are some interesting trials underway in Victoria, there’s a trial going on about letting pharmacists charge $20 to prescribe things that you would normally have to go and get a doctor to prescribe.”
