The programme was designed to unearth, recognise, and fast-track 21 exceptional potential young entrepreneurs in the city
Meet the 21 entrepreneurs under the age of 21 who have been named by Belfast City Council as rising stars of the future.
During the finale of the programme, participants had the opportunity to pitch for a £2,000 cash boost, with the judges voting for Brogán Brady and her company Instyl as the overall winner. She said: "I thought that we would be able to put our own spin on the hot lemon drinks by putting dehydrated lemon into a teabag and after it turned out really well we looked at other drinks that we would be able to do and decided to focus our efforts on making cocktails.
"While our products are not on the shelves at the moment, we are working to officially launch Instyl within the next month online and hopefully you will be able to see them on shelves in shops across Northern Ireland very soon with our first three flavours, Mojito, Cosmo and Strawberry Daiquiri." “We’re not seeing enough young people starting businesses in Belfast yet – and that’s despite their obvious talent and ambition. We want to show that enterprise is a viable career option for everyone, regardless of age, or educational achievement. And while starting a business may be daunting, our council enterprise and business growth team and our wider business networks are there to support you every step of the way.
