Blue Lights returns for its second outing on BBC One as Belfast city centre is awash with drugs and beset by street crime - who is returning to the popular series?
It's one year on from the first series of Blue Lights and there's still crime to fight in Belfast city centre.
Grace and Annie have now moved in together as Grace plans to take her under her wing. Siân explained: "She needs to have someone there almost as a distraction to what’s going on in her life. What comes with that though is the frustrations of living with an adult who lives like a student but the dynamic between Grace and Annie is really lovely."
Martin teased: "Stevie wants to protect Grace from harm but that comes at a cost and we see how that plays out in the series." Actress Katherine doesn't have as many acting credits under her name yet but has previously appeared in episodes of Vikings and 2018 film The Dig. Shane Bradley - Frank Blake Shane is new to the team and has been brought in by Murray Canning to boost the section as they are short-staffed. Shane thinks he’s a bit above the response work and aspires to work in a job like Canning’s and perhaps get out of uniform.Detective Murray Canning - Desmond Eastwood Murray Canning finds himself working with the PCTF - Paramilitary Crime Task Force and has been set the challenge of investigating the increasing drug problem in the city centre.
