Sam Hardacre and his family will go from rags to riches in the new Channel 5 period drama The Hardacres from the same team that brought us All Creatures Great And Small
The show, from the creators of All Creatures Great And Small, is set in the late 1800s and follows the Hardacres, a poor fishing family who unexpectedly come into great wealth.
Who are the stars of The Hardacres? Liam MacMahon takes on the role of Sam Hardacre, the hardworking fish gutter who becomes a factory and landowner, thus securing his family's fortune. MacMahon previously appeared as Daniel in the 2022 series Silverpoint and has also had roles in Evie, Doctors, The Tudors, Coordination Street and The Fall, reports the Express.
Since then, the 43 year old actress has featured in The Witcher: Blood Origins, Six Wives With Lucy Worsley, Knightfall and Snatch. The character is portrayed by actress Julie Graham, known for her roles in Time season two as Lou and other shows such as The Bill, Benidorm, Maternal, Ridley and Shetland.
