The youngsters are 'excited' to begin this new adventure

Five kids from the Kingston Gymnastics Club, based in Kinning Park, have been chosen to represent TeamCharlotte McGregor, Juliet Wilson, Ellie Miller, Joshua Mawuena and Emily MacDuff are the first in their club's history to earn a place in the National Performance Programme ; the most advancedThe NPP sees competitors representing their country in gymnastic events and performing at the sport's highest level.

"I am excited to see what this year brings and thank my coach Fraser Gibson, Scottish Gymnastics and coaches for this opportunity." As well as the club champions earning spaces on the NPP, some have also achieved places in the Performance Pathway Programmes , the level prior to NPP.The eight-year-old said:"It feels great, I’m very proud and can’t wait to get started."Fraser Gibson, head coach at Kingston Gymnastics Club, said:"I'm very happy for all the gymnasts that got selected. They've all been working incredibly hard, and this is their reward.
