Pizza and tapas nights could be among the new features planned after new owners took over at the helm of a popular café bar and kitchen in Sherwood there are talks of adding more to the menu due to customer demand.
She said: “It’s been good, we had been chasing this place for a year and thank God in October, we got it. Nothing’s changed on the menu yet, we have vegan burgers but we get customers asking for other burgers too like chicken so we’re planning to have more with little sides to go with them.READ MORE: Sherwood neighbours say there's 'no excuse' for flytipping amid rise
She continued and said: “We’re now open on a Sunday, the first Sunday wasn’t like Saturdays but it was okay, a lot of elderly people come in everyday for the scones we make, they're homemade daily. In case they didn’t know we’re open on Sundays because they might not have social media, we left flyers around.”
Talking more about the menu, Kay added: “We have a chef who is Italian so we’re thinking about doing a pizza night once a month and maybe a tapas night, we’re still settling in and learning different things. I’ve learnt to bake, make coffee, and face-to-face customer service, I’ve never done anything like this before.”
