Youcef Belouazani from Lenadoon was named the under 19 Irish Dancing World Champion in Glasgow last week
After years of hardwork and dedication a teenager from Lenadoon has achieved his dream of winning the Irish Dancing World Championships for his age.
Youcef first had success in the Irish Dancing World Championships when he was just 12 years old and finished third in his age group and has since grown from strength to strength after dedicating himself to dancing, training nearly every day of the week and always looking to better himself. "My first big success in competitions came when I was 12 years old and finished third at the World Championships, which encouraged me to keep going until I took the title home.
"I am now hoping that I can continue to improve my dancing into the future and find further success at the World Championships and other competitions, before I look at becoming a teacher myself and helping the next generation of Irish dancers.
