The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hosted the Archewell Foundation Parents' Summit for World Mental Health Day in New York yesterday.
Meghan Markle made Prince Harry look very "awkward" with a "failed" gesture during their visit to New York City this week, a body language expert has claimed.
A video from the event which was shared to TikTok showed the Sussexes greeting their guests, the Mirror reports. However, Meghan awkwardly interrupted this as she stepped forward and embraced him instead. "Now they have non-royal status Harry and Meghan seem more prone to small choreography 'fails' like this and it seems from this clip and the one at the Kevin Costner event that it's Meghan who steps up to take the lead."She continued: "Meghan has actively hugged one woman but the next guy goes for a handshake with Harry although somehow Meghan steps forward spontaneously for a hug at around the same time, leaving Harry seeming to drop his hand.
It seems that TikTok users were also not impressed by Meghan's behaviour as she was branded "pathetic" online and accused of pushing Harry aside like a child while she stole the show. The Archewell Foundation's Parent Summit focused on the impact that social media can have on the mental wellbeing of young people.
