Meghan Markle has reportedly jetted off to the US to attend a star-studded business summit in the Hamptons, alongside guests including Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon
Meghan Markle has reportedly flown to New York on Friday to rub shoulders with the stars at a high-profile business summit in the Hamptons.
The 42 year old former Suits star is reported to have been present at the annual G9 Ventures Summer Summit, hosted by influential broker Amy Griffin. The yearly gathering invites some of the biggest names in business to Griffin's sprawling home, worth over $13million. A-listers such as Reese Witherspoon were also there, along with actresses Laura Dern and Mariska Hargitay, and shapewear mogul Sara Blakely, reports the Mirror.
Although Meghan will be keen to triumph with her new venture, a PR guru suggested that her and Prince Harry's rift with the Royal Family may present some challenges for the Duchess. Ryan McCormick told Mirror US: "Meghan and Harry severing ties and writing a tell-all-book did give them a popularity boost initially but, the controversy appears to have had a lasting negative PR fallout in the eyes of some.
