Meghan Markle has declined an invitation to speak at an LA awards ceremony honouring the 'Power of Women' as she continues to remain by Prince Harry's side to support him in his grief
Meghan Markle has turned down an invitation to attend a swanky awards ceremony in the US following the death of The Queen.
However, since the Queen’s sad death last week, the former Suits star has decided not to attend the event so that she can continue to support Prince Harry through this difficult time of grief. Many of the comments were expected to echo previous ones made on her Archetypes podcast, as she had recently hinted at what her speech would entail during a chat with actress Mindy Kaling.
"But, thankfully, I have a partner who was countering that narrative for me and going 'They've got it all wrong. I'm the lucky one because you chose me,’ “ explained Meghan.
