The Duchess of Sussex shared an emotional video montage on Instagram honoring her beloved Beagle, Guy, who passed away recently.
Megan Markle has bid an emotional farewell to her beloved rescue dog with a sweet video montage. The Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to her late Beagle named ' Guy ' on her Instagram account under the handle 'meghan' which she launched this week after a six-year break from social media. The royal revealed she had rescued her pooch from a kill shelter in Canada back in 2015 and she thanked her furry companion for 'so many years of emotional love' in a heart wrenching post.
A video compilation of little Guy, shared multiple images and footage of the dog from moments throughout her life, which featured both her, Prince Harry and their two kids Archie and Lilibet. The video ends with children singing in the background 'We love you Guy', presumed to be the Sussexes' two children, along with Meghan's voice as the words 'In loving memory of Guy' appear. The two minute clip is accompanied with the lengthy caption: In Memory of Guy. In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love. 'They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for. 'If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him - and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.' Meghan continued: 'He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic.
