MeghanMarkle's dad Thomas breaks silence on her decision to quit royal family
Meghan Markle's estranged father Thomas has broken his silence on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to take a step back from being senior members of the royal family.
At the time he spoke to Good Morning Britain about a phone conversation he had with Meghan right after the event, saying: "I spoke to them both and I apologised.Since then, Thomas has missed his daughter's wedding as well as the birth of his grandson, eight month old Archie. The 54 year old, who recently hit out at the new Love Island cast, told his seven million Twitter followers: "People say I'm too critical of Meghan Markle - but she ditched her family, ditched her Dad, ditched most of her old friends, split Harry from William & has now split him from the Royal Family. I rest my case."
Unsympathetic, Piers quipped: "Oh pur-lease. What's been 'painful to watch' has been their absurd woke hypocrisy & constant whining. All on our dime."
