Neighbours have warmly received Mel according to Mail Online, with one commenting: "I hope she's really happy here, she's been through a lot in her life and she deserves to be happy after all the pleasure she's given to other people. It's a lovely place to live and she'll find the locals are dead friendly if she pops into the pubs while she's out walking the dogs.
The Spice Girls star has candidly shared the conclusion of her tumultuous divorce from film producer Stephen Belafonte. In February last year, she divulged that she had managed to buy a new Yorkshire home as part of her journey towards financial independence.
