The Spice Girl was speaking after her performance at this year’s festival
Spice Girl fans will be keeping a close eye on next year’s Glastonbury line-up after Mel C hinted the super group could reform to play the festival in the future.
Asked whether the pop band would take on the Pyramid stage legends slot in the future, the 49-year-old singer told the BBC: “All of the Spice Girls would like to play Glasto, that is the truth. Like I said to the audience [on Saturday night), doing a couple of Spice Girls songs, ‘a bit of a warm-up for next year?’“They’re rehearsed, they know the words, they’re ready.
The girl band have reunited previously for a string of dates in 2019. However this was without former band member Victoria Beckham and was the first time they’d performed together since the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
