7NEWS: Hampton Park mum and pets attacked by three dogs in Melbourne

“I saw three of them coming and I thought, OK my dog is going to die and I’m going to get mauled by a huge dog and I’m going to die on my street,” the 40-year-old told 7NEWS.“Charlie defended himself the best he could. He was trying to bite the dog to get off him and he sort of wiggled away so his neck wasn’t too injured.”But Charlie still took the brunt of the attack, which went on for about five minutes, as the dog locked its jaws on his back legs.

Georgiou spent a night in hospital with injuries to her hands and Charlie had his back leg amputated. 7NEWS understands a man was seen putting three large dogs into a car at the property after the attack and driving away.Georgiou said she had spoken to the dog owners and said they were apologetic, but the animals had not been seen since. The incident has been reported to police and they are investigating. If you’d like to view this content, please adjust your
