🚨 Breaking: A 25-year-old man was tackled to the ground outside Berry’s Jewellers on Albion Street in the city centre
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 3.30pm yesterday, police received reports of a man with a hammer smashing a window at Berry’s Jewellers, in Albion Street, Leeds.
“Officers attended and arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of attempted theft and possession of an offensive weapon.
