The Animal Care Technician I provides for the daily care of rodent species in standard and specialized husbandry settings. This includes performing regularly scheduled cage changing in conventional and high density barrier housing areas, observing animals for abnormalities and maintaining adequate food and water supplies in enclosures.Execute assigned animal husbandry tasks with guidance .Assist in veterinary treatments on research models, special observations, and other study-directed requests.
