The victim has been left seriously injured
A man has been left seriously injured after being robbed at knifepoint by masked men in Stockport . The terrifying attack happened in the Heaton Norris area of the town at around 8pm on Sunday night . The victim was walking along Wilkinson Road towards Heaton Norris Park when he was approached by two men wearing balaclavas, Greater Manchester Police said. They were armed with what are believed to be knives and demanded he hand over his phone, the force said.
Drivers warned of ‘widespread disruption’ ahead of bridge closure Detectives are investigating and are carrying out 'extensive' CCTV enquiries as they try to get to the bottom of what happened and catch the culprits. The suspects have both been described as white males, in their 20s. One is said to have been of slim build and have pale blue eyes.
