Mental health needs to be treated seriously
THE classic RSPCA advert which used to run every festive season reminded us that"a dog is for life, not just for Christmas".The same sentiment should apply to those now focusing on the many thousands of people who suffer every day from mental illness. So as we enter Mental Health Awareness Week, this newspaper would like to applaud those ministers who are using the week to put out important messages and announcements on tackling this terrible epidemic.
