THE Manila Electric Company on Wednesday announced a slight increase of P0.0844 per kWh for November, bringing the overall rate for a household to P9.9472 per kWh from P9.8628 per KwHin October.
For residential customers consuming 200 kWh, the upward adjustment is equivalent to an increase of around P17 in their total electricity bill.Meralco attributed the rise in the overall November rate to the generation charge, which went up by P0.0725 to P6.9917 per kWh from P6.9192 per kWh.
