Workers at Mercedes-Benz in Alabama start voting this week on whether to join the United Auto Workers union. Last month, Volkswagen workers in Tennessee voted overwhelmingly to unionize.

More than 5,000 workers at Mercedes-Benz near Tuscaloosa, Ala., are voting on whether to join the United Auto Workers union.union election at Volkswagen in Chattanooga, Tenn.But unlike at Volkswagen, Mercedes workers say they have been barraged at work with anti-union videos highlighting the failures of unions elsewhere and forced to join closed-door meetings with lawyers.Vote no, vote no, vote no.
