There is one test centre where passing is much more likely
There are a few spots in Liverpool where you're actually more likely to pass your driving test the first time round. Law Trucks have created their Driving Test Report , which helped rank test centres in Merseyside based on their average pass rate over a year period. Research on GOV.UK shows that, on average, it takes people around 45 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructor plus 22 hours of private practice to pass their test - and that's just if you pass first time around.
So where is the best place in Merseyside to take your test to get a higher chance of passing the first time around? Southport is the centre to go to in Merseyside to increase your chances of passing first time - with a 56.3% pass rate, more than one in two people will secure their certificate from this test centre. Upton test centre is not far behind. Out of 10,289 tests conducted, 47.6% passed - just less than half. Wallasey was the quietest test centre, with only 1,816 tests conducted.
