Meryl Streep and Martin Short did little to quell ongoing romance rumors as they stepped out for dinner in LA on Wednesday.
The Oscar-winning actress, 75, and her Only Murders In The Building co-star, 74, who held hands on the red carpet in August, looked giddy as they dined at Giorgio Baldi - with Short placing a tender hand on the small of her back.
Back in October of 2023, Meryl's fans were shocked to learn that she and her longtime husband Don Gummer had quietly separated six years earlier. She joined Only Murders In The Building as a special Guest Star beginning with its third season, and she has continued on with the currently airing fourth season.After observing them at the affair, a source told Page Six about their bond, 'It’s gotta be more than a"showmance." There is definitely something there.'Short gushed about his admiration for Streep when asked by Extra about their off-camera friendship.
