Jacobson's caption referenced a slide she included in the carousel of images on the social media site, which featured a headline singling out a current "joyful new era of lesbian fashion."Many took the Instagram post as Jacobson coming out as a lesbian, though the performer didn't explicitly say she was gay — nor did she post about her relationship with Blundell being a romantic one.
Jacobson is the youngest of Streep's four children with her husband, Don Gummer, from whom she is currently separated. All of the former couple's children are performers, including actor Henry Wolfe,
