Some good and some bad news
Although we have been in for quite a mixed bag when it comes to the weather lately with plenty of wind and rain, temperatures have been quite mild.
Met Eireann has pinpointed exactly when the "above average temperature" is set to leave, and things will take quite a turn for the worse.As we move further towards the autumn months, the national weather advisory says average temperatures are actually expected to stay above average, approximately 0.5 and 1.0 °C above average nationwide for that time of the year.Met Eireann predicts temperatures will decrease to between 0.2 and 0.5 °C above average in November.
Thursday Mainly dry with sunny spells turning hazy as the day progresses on Thursday, with a chance of patchy rain and drizzle developing in the coastal fringes of the west and southwest. On Thursday night, rain will develop in the southwest and spread over Munster and Connacht overnight.
