Liverpool will not be as warm as other parts of England
Summer is set to return this week with parts of the UK to bask in 25C heat, but things won't get that hot in Liverpool.
We can expect some showers on Tuesday morning, which will then turn to sunny intervals. The Met Office predicts Wednesday will be cloudy with some sunny spells. As we head further into the week, things are then set to turn colder, with highs of 17C on Thursday and Friday. The Met Office forecast adds: "Largely fine on Wednesday but an increasingly chance of showers overnight, these perhaps becoming widespread on Thursday and Friday with some locally heavy downpours.
It adds that northern areas will perhaps have "the greater chance of rain and showers, while any drier spells are more likely in the south."
