The Met Office has forecast flurries between Sunday November 17 and Tuesday November 19
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in various parts of England spanning 42 hours.
According to the forecast, snow flurries are expected between Sunday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 19, potentially causing disruptions. Higher ground areas may receive up to 20cm of snow on Monday and Tuesday, with a slight possibility of up to 10cm settling at lower elevations. The yellow alert affects Scotland, Yorkshire, north-east England, north-west England and other areas.On Saturday, a band of rain is expected to move southwards across the UK, followed by the spread of cold air to southern regions on Saturday night, Birmingham Live reports.

"Temperatures will drop as a northerly airflow develops, bringing in colder Arctic air. This introduces the possibility of snow, initially over high ground in the north from Sunday, with gusty winds also a potential hazard. As the cold air spreads south, wintry weather is possible more widely, and a snow and ice warning has already been issued for parts of Scotland and Northern England for early next week.
